True2Sports Training & Education Foundation is a non-profit venture working towards giving orphan and under privilege children\u2019s an opportunity to play sports. True2Sports Training & Education Foundations goal is to help orphan and underprivileged kids play cricket for Mumbai, IPL and India. The goal is to help create as many professional cricketers they can.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today True2Sports Training & Education Foundation has cricket coaching centres in government backed Child Welfare Centre\u2019s. The coaches are first class and international cricketers. The goal is first to rehabilitate the child but also to create players who can go on and play for the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At True2Sports Training & Education Foundation we envision orphans and under privilege kids with world-class potential receive all the support, knowledge and encouragement necessary to empower them to achieve their dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our mission of Empowering India\u2019s underprivileged and orphans is premised on the belief that sporting champions are created when the right talent gets the right support at the right time. Coaching centres for under privilege kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur aim is to use cricket as a medium to help transform lives.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sahil Kukreja <\/strong>is the Founder<\/strong> of True2Sports Training & Education Foundation<\/strong> and he is also an ex professional cricketer who represented Mumbai, India under -19 and India \u2013 A. He opened the batting for Mumbai for 6 straight years with a highest score of 229 not out. Sahil was part of the Ranji Trophy winning team 3 times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He retired at an early age of 26 but the cricket bug never left him. 3 years from his retirement he started coaching at the Children\u2019s Home Chembur. The coaching was started as a recreational activity for the young orphan kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sincerity, effort and discipline of the students made him realize there can be an even bigger opportunity with these kids. He thought some of them can actually become professional cricketers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Project activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the past 4 years we have regularly trained approximately between 120 \u2013 135 kids. We had started with one academy at Chembur where the boys practiced in the morning and in the evening daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also started another academy at Matunga, David Sassoon Children School. Kids practice on the following days: Monday, Thursday and Friday from (4:00 pm \u2013 7:00 pm). Kid\u2019s age groups are between 12 -18 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India\u2019s First Ever Orphan Girls Cricket Academy<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also intend to start some more academies at New Observation Home Chembur at Children\u2019s Home Academy Mankhurd and Bal Kalyan Nagri for Girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New observation Home is for boys and girls. Their age groups are between 3 -12 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have created turf and concrete wickets for practice. We have also renovated the Gym for Physical Strength and Training. We also want to create a women\u2019s cricket team. For girls there would be a Female Coach and for Boys Male Coach.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
